Tolerancia al celecoxib en pacientes con intolerancia a AINE
Resumen
Antecedentes:Los antiinfalmatorios no esteroideos
son medicamentos muy utilizados y su intolerancia
mas la posibilidad de reacción cruzada entre
ellos ocaciona problemas terapeuticos. El retiro del
mercado del rofecoxib un COX 2 selectivo obliga a
la búsqueda de otro fármaco que de la misma seguridad,
es el motivo del trabajo.
Objetivo: Conocer la tolerancia del celecoxib en
pacientes intolerantes a AINE
Metodos: Se seleccionaron 56 pacientes con intolerancia
a AINE a quienes se le realizó la prueba de
provocación controlada oral de acuerdo al método de
vives (modificado) con 200 mg de celecoxib, el primer
día placebo y 1/8,( 63,45 mg) el segundo día ¼ y
½ (126,9 mg y 253,8 mg) y el tercer día 1 cápsula,(
507,6 mg) con controles del pulso, y presión arterial.
Se tomaron 30 sujetos sanos como grupo control.
Resultados: Los 56 pacientes intolerantes a
AINE toleraron el celecoxib
Conclusiónes: El celecoxib es un fármaco seguro
en pacientes con intolerancia a AINE
